Montague Amateur bamboo fly rod

Description

All original 8’0” 2 pc with 1 tip bamboo fly rod. Size 15/64 ferrule. Most Montague Amateurs built were 7 ½ ft long. This 8’ version is rarer length. All sections are full length, straight and the ferrule fit is good. The straight profile cork grip is soiled from age and use but is solid. The original Montague sticker is still attached to the grip.

The light cane is highlighted with Salmon-berry wraps. The guide wraps are in good shape and the emblems are intact. All metal sliding band reel seat. Comes complete with rod sock.
