Orvis Impregnated Bamboo fly Rod   8′ 6″   3pc w/1 tips

Description

This early Orvis Rod takes a 5wt line. Butt cap is marked “Orvis Impregnated Patent Pending.” The fly rod is 8 1/2 feet long. The rod configuration is a 3 piece with 1 tip.  The rod has been varnished. The cork is solid and in good shape. The wraps are tight, the ferrule fit is good and it is ready to take fishing.  The metal tube and a green cloth bag is original to the rod but is the tube is missing its’ cap.
