Signature Two-handed Series Rods

My “Riverborn” family of two-handed bamboo flyrods come in lengths of 9 – 13 feet and are designed to be paired with Scandi and Skagit shooting heads. The rods are available in 3 &4 piece hex configurations paired with traditional ferrules or with spliced joints. Rod handles are provided in cork, wood or rattan. You can also have your rod inscribed for a personal touch.

The “Riverborn” series of two hand rods combines old world tradition of bamboo with the power and smooth, rhythmic casting stroke that is forgiving and cadence-driven that is ideal for long, flowing casts and are designed to be paired with modern trout spey, scandi and skagit shooting heads.

Whether you’re fishing a wet line or a dry line, with traditional Spey, Skagit, Scandi or Switch lines, you’ll find these rods to be incredibly accurate and capable of casting long distances with ease. Riverborn rods are hollow built resulting in a 20-35% lighter weight rod without sacrificing strength to reduce weight.

Standard rods are available with traditional ferrules or with spliced joints that are taped. While traditional ferrules offer ease of assembly and takedown, they do not transfer the power as uniformly as spliced joints do. As such rods with traditional ferrules are best used as dry line fishing and spliced models recommended for dry and wet line fishing.
