Service Highlights

  • Complete refurbishment from tip top to reel seat
  • Guide rewrap or replacement - I will match most guide makes and thread colors.
  • Lose a tip top - I will match most tip tops and rewrap.
  • Loose or missing ferrule - I will reset and rewrap your ferrule. As I make ferrules, I will make a ferrule to match the other ferrules on your rod.
  • Broken rod section - I will repair with a scarf or I will remake a section with your rod's exact taper and action.

  • Delamination of sections - I will strip, glue and rewrap good as new.
  • Hook digs - I will repair and seal the area.
  • Have a set - I will straighten and take the twists out of your sections.
  • Faded or chipped bluing - I will recharge your blued hardware back to new.
  • Grip repair - I can repair or replace your rod grips.

Full Rod Restoration                                                             $300-$600*

  • Full rod restoration is the complete overhaul of the fly rod and can vary based on the rods needs and the owner’s desires. Generally, the work includes the repair/replacement of hardware, grips and reel seat, replacement of missing or damaged guides or installation of a complete new guide set, new wrappings with matching new silk, removal of any sets/twists in bamboo sections and the re-varnishing of the rod.
